Apparition III and Apparition IV were created with playing cards from a living estate sale on Thornton Avenue in Regina. The home belonged to an elderly man who was present during the sale, pricing items on the fly and offering anecdotes associated with his various objects. He was assisted with the sale by his middle-aged children and it was implied that the woman of the house was no longer living. Sourced from the elderly couple's personal iconography, the apparition collages contemplate mortality and hypothesize imagery to accompany transition into afterlife.
